Traditional Portfolio![]() The Traditional interiors you see here were created for our clients in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington DC with special attention to detail. Our new Jersy Interior Designers make every attempt to create a unique space for each client reflecting their individual voice. This accounts for the variation in style of these portfolio pages. We accept projects from California to the Caribbean that require our special talents and resources. Cast plaster details by old world craftsmen, custom handwoven carpets from Asia, and one of a kind lighting pieces are some of the many items that make every room unique to the owner. Our designs reflect the homeowner's desires for comfort and utility. Each design is unique to the client's own voice and vision. ![]() " We have had several months to digest and enjoy the fruits of your talents. It was by coincidence or perhaps not that we had the pleasure to meet and work with you. Although I was not prepared for what was coming, the result has exceeded expectations. The axiom applies, price always forgotten - quality and value long remembered. You made the experience enjoyable and pleasant. My wife and I thank you for your vision and skill ... your kindness and patience were always evident." |
| A light and airy home office / Library in an octagonal room demands special consideration. Mohogany stained to blend with the exotic wood flooring is decorated with carved elements on the bookcases and 20 inch corbels holding up the desk top. | ![]() |
| The turret library, in this Cranbury NJ home, is a cozy, tranquil, atmosphere to read a book or have discussions about the day. Just off the music room, it is a comfortable place to sit and listen. Using the colors of Duke University, emblems and pictures of the alma mater abound. Blue, mahogany, and soft leather are the rule of the day. | |
| A music room is one room that few attain but all may enjoy. Carpets and coffered ceiling help damp the echo and keep the sound pure, plush fabrics help too. Deeply carved, arched doors, frame the piano from the living room inviting all to enter. | |
| A comfortable down seating group and welcoming hearth are surrounded by beautiful antiques in this formal but inviting living room. Leaded glass windows flank the fireplace for symmetry. | |
| This kitchen, designed for our clients in Marlton NJ, uses warm wood and antique iron. Comfortable leather stools create spectator seating for the cooking show. All that is needed is a bit of Chianti and we might well be in a kitchen in Fierenza. | |

Once an unused room at the end of the home, this cozy study is now a favorite spot to catch a ball game or read quietly. The coffered ceiling and leaded glass pocket doors add texture and elegance to this intimate space. Built-in oak corner displays and the computer desk / TV area on the facing wall wrap the room in warm wood tones. Deep pub back chairs sharing a 48 inch oval leather ottoman, iron book table and heavy tapestry drapes complete this back of the house getaway. |
| This Kitchen design is the heart of this home. Fresh pasta and breads are made daily at the bake center created by the dropped portion of the island. A wheat sheaf appliqu on the cooking hood celebrates the baking done here. Trusses matching the cabinetry draw the eye to the soaring vault of the ceiling. | ![]() |

The neoclassical detailing of this glazed ash kitchen stand in stark contrast to its sleek granite counters and stainless steel fittings. Laid out around a 5 ft X 10 ft Island, this kitchen can accommodate several cooks without spoiling the broth. |
| For large family gatherings or formal entertaining in the home, a bar is often just the setting for conversation. Cherry, stone, and comfortable stools lend a relaxing touch to this setting. | ![]() |

Stone & wood married in elegance. It is easy to see that less is more. |
| Cherry cabinetry lends warmth to this great room. Housing entertainment and display, this ten foot high wall unit is in perfect scale to the spacious room with its elevated ceilings. The fireplace with its wonderfully figured marble was fashioned as the focal point for the room. | ![]() |

Dual vanities flanking the dressing table are the features of this sumptuous master bathroom for our clients in Vineland, NJ. Mirrors on the hidden medicine cabinets left and right of the central arch mirror open to create a three way mirror for this makeup area. Carved details in this bath add that extra touch that makes the ordinary extraordinary. |
| Viewed from the gallery, the media center with built-in three sided fireplace is the heart of the room. Manufactured in honey toned Oak to match the wood trim in the home, this sophisticated, raised panel project was designed to be as eye catching from above as it is from ground level. The asymmetrical design lends energy as well as creating unique areas for display. | ![]() |

Fabricated of rich mahogany with hand craved Ionic pilasters and dental molding, this media unit has been fitted for large screen TV, stereo w/ sub woofer. The ionic columns flanking the TV are pullout storage for VHS, CD, and Audio media. The beveled glass doors over the display area create a special elegance while protecting the display from dust. |

This staircase renovation changed a builders square stairs to a graceful sweep of oak. Paneling the inside curve under the stairs gives an interesting backdrop for the ornate pedestal and urn. Custom designed carpets and runners were created by our weavers in Thailand to compliment the oak and finishes throughout the area. |
| The home Office / library is becoming derigueur in the fashionable home. It is also very sensible in today's life style. Our Cape May, NJ client just wanted a quiet place to get away with a good book . It is also a great place to keep the ever increasing collection of faxes, computers, and home electronics. The home office can be as simple or elegant as the client wishes. This beautiful cherry, raised panel room has laurel leaf garlands carved on the vertical edges of the TV cabinet and book shelves. (see laurel detail in the portfolio extras). Display and lighting are installed to give lightness and visual interest. | ![]() |

Featuring the ceiling of cast plaster designs reminiscent of times past, this formal parlor is an elegant setting for high tea. A beautiful hand carved fruit wood love seat is set on the delicate rose patterned Aubusson carpet. The rich silk from Cowtan & Tout and the elegant Scalamandre fabric that make up the windows lay beautifully against the linen damask wall covering. |
| These beautiful 100% silk drapes with padded cornices and handmade chenille tassels are the highlight of this dining room for our project in Haddonfield, NJ. The Batik silk look of the wall paper above the aubergine wainscot give this room a unique richness and opulence. | ![]() |
