Hand made tiles, carved corbels and a wheat sheaf applique give this cook hood it's signature look. |
| Imported antique architectural elements can add exotic interest to any home. Here we used an Indian column as our newel post in this contemporary basement setting |

The warm colors in the block printed linen panels echo tones form the cabinetry and stone. Iron accents and top notch artwork finish the space for an uber casual look. |
| Strong colors make this billiard room and exciting place to hang out with friends. Stools allow visitors to see the play while seated. |
|
| We had these pantry doors delivered to one of our favorite artists to be faux painted with a design taken from upholstery in the room. Replacing common door knobs with heavy iron pulls make otherwise ordinary doors extraordinary. |
|
| This
Mullholland Brothers Leather
Wrapped chest acts as the Stereo cabinet for this home in Voorhees, NJ. |

Deep tones for the walls and light trim throw the architecture of this stairway in sharp contrast. |
| Massive 24" brackets support the mantel surmounting slabs of this beautifully figured marble. The artwork, marble and cherry wood harmonize together in this feature of the great room. |
|
|
Carved elements in this master bath capture the elegance of by gone days when master craftsmen were employed to create these individual pieces. Silver plate fixtures and hardware echo the leaf mirrors especially created for the space. |
| These ebonized ribbon mahogany consoles are topped in absolute black granite. The hand wrought bronze legs were especially created for this piece by one of our artists. |

Desk fronts can be greatly enhanced with hand carved elements. These 21 inch brackets create interest and sit under space for the front of this desk. |
| An area rug created to fit this space was woven in Thailand of the finest Nepalese wool. The design pulls features from the surrounding rooms but with one special feature. In the square end of the carpet the clients children's hand prints have been woven in to the pile. A lasting reminder these tiny hands came and went from this door. |
|
|
Iron torchiers in the style of leafy branches were placed in stark contrast to the classical arched window and swags to create tension and activity. |
| The hearth has long been considered the center of the home. This post modern fire place is no exception. With the walls done in a textural rice paper soften the entire space while the silver framed over sized print of a dandelion blends soothingly with the wall to act as the focal point of the room. |

Many contemporary spaces demand simplicity but need not suffer from lack of richness or detail. These valances that conceal the pleated shades are comprised of the usual upholstery technique but with a brushed nickel and black chrome detail to add interest and vitality. This same metal treatment is repeated throughout the space in lighting fixtures, chairs, and hardware. |
| Shaped area carpets fitted to their spaces are not found in stores. These special pieces have to be designed. The spiraling boarder has its genesis in the DNA molecule, reflecting the occupation of the homeowner. Color selection from a palette of over 400 colors was balanced with the upholstery, drapes, and woodwork. |

Laurel
leaf garlands, hand carved in cherry, ornament the verticals in this
library bookcase. Solid brass pulls were custom finished to a deep
patina to blend with the surface of the wood. |
| Carved Tassels 14" long are featured on this drapery treatment. The unusual & unexpected solidity of the tassels create tension against the soft drapery. The patined gold surfaces reflects light like jewels in the room. |
|

Foyer Chandeliers create the first impression of the home. This light, airy fixture entirely fills the cathedral height foyer with out being heavy or clumsy. Ideal for the contemporary space and providing generous light, this chandelier with it's craft paper shades floats weightlessly above the entry like a flock of doves. |
| Clean lines and unusual materials combine to create interest in this window details. Note the pewter nail heads used on the upholstered leather valance. The heavy chenille standing panel with 1 1/2" grommets allow the nickel, copper and chrome rod to create a voluptuous drape effect. |
|

Removing a stock rectilinear staircase and installing a custom curved case in its place is best left to the pros. Spindle choices, handrail profiles, risers, treads, rise and curve must all be planned for a perfect marriage. In this case we chose all oak to blend with the rest of the home. To accent the stairs we used an oriental runner woven to match the foyer carpet and hallway runner down stairs. Special templates had to be made to ensure that the curved stair runner would fit and align on installation. The stair runner is held down by jewelry like brass rods on each step. |
| Foyer carpet matches the stair runner and falls perfectly in the space defined for it by Brazilian cherry inserts in the oak foyer floor. |
